  • light soiling: (clear river water) 0 – 50 ppm
  • normal soiling: (muddy water) 50 – 100 ppm
  • heavy soiling: (very murky water) over 100 ppm

 

  • for water with particle loading over 300 ppm upstream sedimentation tank required (eventual  in combination with flocculants or self-cleaning pump pre-filters)
  • for water with sand content upstream hydrocyclone (separator) recommended
  • the information in tables relates to maximum filtration velocity of 50 mtr/m²/h (for optimum filtration quality lower filtration velocity should be assumed)

Above information are given for standard bed height (diameter = 2/1 to 1/1-), especially for agricultural applications, for example irrigation. Please ask us for industrial applications, drinking water and deep sand filter.

 

Modularity


Due to modular assembly of multiple filter container with automatic valves, amounts of water up to scores of 1000 m³ per hour are realizable even with poor water quality. Automatic pressure difference controlled backflushing ensures continuous operation. Especially suitable for mobile plants owing to modularity and low weight.
